  /  Delivery and Returns Policy

It is guaranteed within 24 hours for every order placed before 12 p.m. from Monday to Friday (except on public and bank holidays) and is free for over £60.

  1. Every order of fresh products is packed in an insulated bag along with ice gel packs.
  2. The parcel is hand-delivered on your day of choice.

Delivery for Great Britain
We use DHL to deliver most of our online products within Great Britain. All our fresh products are packed with gel ice packs to ensure premium quality on arrival. We send out on a next day delivery service as standard to ensure that your fresh products and caviar arrive in perfect condition.
 
Unless you specify the delivery date when ordering, the following delivery schedule applies:  
 
Standard delivery schedule:  
Orders placed before 12.00 pm Mondays to Thursdays are dispatched the same day.  
Orders placed after 12.00 pm Mondays to Wednesdays are dispatched the following day.  
Orders placed post 12.00 pm Thurs through Sunday are dispatched the following Monday, 


Please note:
If you are not at the delivery address at the agreed delivery time, your product will be sent back to the depot. Gourmet House Caviar and Deli cannot be held liable for your product if you fail to meet the agreed delivery time window.

Sadly, there is no such thing as a perfect courier company. We do use DHL as it has the greatest infrastructure and a “can deliver” mentality, but things do sometimes go wrong. Once a parcel leaves our depot, it is out of our complete control, but we will do whatever we can to ensure successful delivery.

Delivery for Great Britain

Returns (‘Dry’ Non-Perishable Goods only)

When you shop online you have the right to a “cooling-off” period of 14 calendar days in the EU (Consumer Contacts Regulations) and 30 days in the UK (Consumer Rights Act 2015) whereby you can withdraw from the contract and return your purchases to the seller.  Perishable goods are not covered by these cooling-off periods, as they might not reasonably last as long as the stipulated 14-day.

If you wish to return any ‘Dry’ non-perishable products, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your delivery.  Returns must be made at your own cost within 7 days of receiving your delivery.  Please note that we can only accept the return of ‘Dry’ non-perishable products – we cannot accept returns of any fresh or frozen products.  Returns must be received in their original condition.

Damaged Products

If any of your products are damaged in any way upon receipt, please call us on +44 2037932072 or email us at contact@gourmethousedeli.com. Please send an image of the damaged product along with your Order Number and an explanation of the problem.  If the products are faulty through no fault of your own, we will happily replace or refund the affected item/s.
